Whoever said that ignorance is bliss didn’t know what the heck they were talking about. Being unconsciously incompetent, not knowing what you don’t know, can bite you in the butt.
Throughout 2011, my goal is to provide you with inspiration, information, and resources that can take you and your business to a higher level.
Today, I am going to give you some bang for your buck by sharing with you a little bit of wisdom and a significant resource that for some of you can potentially make a world of difference for you and your business.
Let’s start with the inspiration so that you will be motivated to take action when you learn about this awesome resource that is available to you.
Wisdom is Knowledge Rightly Applied
When Terry Lundgren, CEO of Macy’s, was asked to provide some advice to aspiring entrepreneurs, he imparted these words of wisdom. Listen. It is worthy of taking heed and applying to our businesses. By the way, I added my two cents in as well.
- Get your feet wet in a small environment – Create success in a small environment. It’s far easier to duplicate success in a bigger environment once you have a winning formula.
- Create an infrastructure – When a big opportunity presents itself, you want to be prepared.
- It’s okay to be a small company – Bigger is not always better. It’s far better to be wildly successful as a big fish in a little pond rather being a small fish in a big pond.
With that said, let’s get down to the nitty gritty. RESOURCES!
