Business Need: Business Development of NYC-based Small Business and Entrepreneur Contract Training Program for Department of Continuing Education. The Department of Continuing Education for one of the colleges in the CUNY system developed a customized training program  that would address the needs of staff development for small- and mid-sized business owners.

Solution: Inspire Enterprise helped this college’s Department of Continuing Education develop their strategic plan, marketing plan, and sales materials for delivering customized training programs to New York City-based small business entrepreneurs and their staff.

Business Need: Customized Communications Training for Pharmacy Department in Mid-Sized Hospital

The Director of the Pharmacy Department in a mid-sized Brooklyn hospital had a key initiative to meet his business goals.  Two of the key measurements of this initiative were Attitude and Performance.  One of his main strategies was to increase the satisfaction of his customers by having his staff positively engage with them on a consistent basis.

We worked from the inside out!  Inspire Enterprise developed and implemented an employee satisfaction survey.  We knew that if we addressed the employees’ needs, it would have a positive impact on how they related to their customers, thereby giving the customer a more pleasant experience.  In addition, Inspire Enterprise conducted a two-day Strategic Vision workshop with the management staff of the department as well.  Lastly, we developed and implemented a customer satisfaction survey.  Based on the results of the survey, we created an action plan to address the needs of the customers.

Solution: Inspire Enterprise helped to enhance relationships between the management team and their internal customers (employees).  In addition,  the relationships between the department’s external customers (doctors and nurses) and staff were positively impacted as well.

Business Need: Heterogeneous Grouping of Entrepreneurs Need Business Coaching to Live their Vision.
Six entrepreneurs in divergent fields (Day Care Owner, Fashion, Real Estate, Psychologist, Event Planner) came together through the Brooklyn Outreach Center. They needed inspiration and practical advice to set goals, create actionable steps, and implement a plan to manifest their personal and business goals.

Solution: Danielle Douglas led a live Live Your Vision Series Workshop with the Entrepreneurs. The Program Director, Liliano Blanco, said of the workshop, “We were amazed at how [Danielle’s] work helped a group of women—connect, resolve, set goals, and start work towards manifesting their personal visions. Danielle was a great facilitator and source of energy for a group of entrepreneurs that needed that extra push to start working towards their dreams. The workshop was so well received that the group continues to meet informally on a monthly basis to continue to support one another in achieving their vision.

A physician with over 3,000 patients annually and a full-time staff of 12 has outgrown his premises and is expanding into two new NYC neighborhoods. Inspire Enterprise is preparing the practice for expansion by helping it create operational, financial, and marketing systems.

Business Plan We created a business plan that has a two-fold purpose: 1. To raise money to support business growth and 2. To help the practice fine-tune their vision and goals for creating a sustainably growing, profitable business.

Practice Management Plan To create systems that address inefficiency and disorganization, an organizational assessment was done. Then, we put an Electronic Medical Records System in place and created a patient-care system that allows his front office to deliver greater customer service and efficiency. Lastly, we  developed a Marketing plan to create strategic and tactical steps to increase business development and find strategic partnerships with Internal Medicine and other specialty physicians thereby increasing the profitability of the practice.
